Before booking motorcycle training, it's important to consider any safety equipment and clothing needs, as well as the type of bike you'll be riding and the license requirements for the area you plan to ride in. We do provide helmets jackets, gloves and waterproofs also boots in regular sizes. You should also research the different types of training available as not all motorcycle schools are equal and make sure that the training program you choose is certified by a reputable organization. Additionally, it's important to ensure that the instructor is experienced and knowledgeable and that the program covers an adequate amount of time and instruction.
You will need to have a valid CBT, it lasts for 2 years. It is a good idea to have a couple of months left on it. If you don't have your CBT don't worry you can book one on our website. By doing that we will have a previous record of your training and your needs so we can further advise you on your full licence. Also by completing your CBT with Edventure Rider your skills will be surpassing any other school which you will find useful for your full licence and be able to master the more advanced techniques quicker. You will also need your motorcycle theory test which is slightly different to your car driving theory and same as CBT make sure you have at least couple of months left on it. If you are doing a progressive test then you will not need your motorcycle theory test as you have been on your motorcycle licence for the past 2 years. Your motorcycle Driving licence needs to be present. DVSA will not be able to accept check codes, copies or pictures on your phone. If you don't have your licence present wait with your booking till you have it present.
In order for us to take you to test you must complete a minimum of 3 training sessions beforehand. First one needs to be mod 1 training session. You are also required to have at least one mod 2 training session and 3rd one is for you to choose.
The dates for your full licence will be provided after you will email us your availability. Bear in mind DVSA doesn't work weekends and most of your training will be done at weekdays.
Please bear in mind when booking your courses 5 sessions includes 3 training sessions and 2 tests. You will need to book your mod 1 training as your first session.
Please come to your sessions well rested as you will find our session intensive. One session lasts 3 hours as we found the concentration levels wane past this time.
